SPORT EVENT & FACILITY MANAGEMENT
PROJECT & PAPER
Each student will develop a comprehensive sport facility based on the criteria that follows. Students will treat this assignment as if they were officially in charge of building the facility. Every part of the plan must be realistic. You must research thoroughly and present data where applicable throughout the project & paper.
In regards to facility design the MINIMUM items and information to be included are:

The project & paper is due and will be posted to BlackBoard by the end of unit 8.
The project & paper will be a MINIMUM of seven full pages, not inclusive of the cover page or Reference
page. The paper will be written in APA style, address all previously mentioned criteria, include information
about the city in which you are building, be typed in twelve-point type, and be double-spaced. You will use a
MINIMUM of five scholarly sources from a MINIMUM of three different resources to support your paper.

You may base your project & paper on one of the following facilities:
#1 = Design a 10,000 seat arena for a new NBA NBDL team in Burlington, Vermont
#2 = Design a 70,000 seat domed retractable-roof stadium for a new NFL franchise in Las Vegas, Nevada
#3 = Design a 5,000 seat open-air baseball stadium for a new minor league baseball team in Tunica, Mississippi
#4 = Design a multi-purpose recreational sport complex for a new 25,000 person university in Nashville,
Tennessee
